The last 20 years have been an incredible adventure for me. It all started the day I and my friend attended the release of Microsoft's Windows 3.0 in the library of San Diego State University. Only a few weeks later I had installed the first development environment for Windows. With the help of 8 other students, we were able to structure texts in a standardized way as part of our software engineering project and send them in compressed form over the Internet. The recipient could use the same technique to get a formatted text.
The applied structured methods in combination with standard software should simplify people's work.
Although we didn't know exactly what we could do with it, it changed my life.
